"So, last night was the first night of National Novel Writing month where it kind of really felt like it was a chore, it felt like it was homework which was a bit weird and put me off a little bit. It's strange because I was sat in my cafe where I normally write, the Shortich Old Station which is like a cafe / bar. It's a small place but it's got a nice atmosphere, free WiFi, free power which is great for writing and when I get in there around 6:00 or 7:00 in the evening there's usually spaces free. So, it's good. But on Thursday's and Fridays it is more of a bar than a cafe, and it's more of a bar full of hipsters than a cafe full of writers. Which means the place just quickly fills up with the 'those' types, which can be a bit of a pain. So it's a little bit off putting, but I persevered because I got 2,000 words done and broke the 27k barrier. So, as long as I keep chipping away at it I'll get there and I really don't want it to feel like it's a chore any more, which I'm sure it won't.
Anyway, a quick progress update. I redeveloped the battle scenes a little last night. Tokyo Collider going into the fray, going into battle with the Vampires for the first time, which is quite cool. I've also kind of come across another slight problem, which is explaining three battle scenes at the same time, all linked via one person. So, I'm not entirely sure how I'm going about that but at the moment it seems to be making sense and I think we're doing well. So, when I read over what I wrote last night it was on track, and finally I've bridged a gap in my notes which takes me to the ending. I knew where I was. I knew where the ending was. I just wasn't sure exactly how to get there and now I am, which to be honest is probably a much better thing than just pushing out words that didn't make much sense. So on track. More this weekend."

Enjoyable entry, I do wish the town I lived in had a relaxed atmosphere that would be conducive to ones writing. Great post.
